On Life

I live in a town on the West Coast of New Zealand called Paroa Greymouth. I have always absolutely loved the outdoors; from Mountain Biking and hiking, to just getting outside in the fresh air as much as I can. I am currently still in high school, surrounded by lots of friends who support my love for cycling, even if they aren’t into the sport themselves.

On Beginnings

I first got into cycling, when my parents introduced me to it at age 4 – I haven’t gotten off a bike since. I love training and going for social rides, where I can see the beautiful scenery of my hometown.

On Inspiration

Kate Courtney (@kateplusfate). She is an American cross-country and mountain bike rider who works incredibly hard to be the best! She recently became the first American in 17 years to win an Elite MTB World Championship. And also, my mum….

On Challenges

I have a passion for exercise and outdoors so staying active isn’t really a challenge for me at the moment because I enjoy it so much. However, I do struggle to balance training, friendships and school at times. My goal is to push myself and go as far as I can in mountain biking and multi-sport racing.

A huge congratulations to Emma for her recent race result. We are so proud of this Angel! Watch this space!
